Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Last updated 23 August 2026
This policy covers this website — the pages you are reading now. It is separate from how the Corenta platform handles data inside a customer’s own private space, which is governed by the agreement signed with that customer and summarised under Security.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by Daniel KIGHERI Richard, Kampala, Uganda. For any question about this policy, or to ask what is held about you, write to hello@corenta.com or send a message on WhatsApp to +256 751 293 763.
What this website collects
Only what you type into the demo request form, and only when you submit it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give one
- Your organisation and its rough size, if you give them
- Which part of the system you are interested in
- Anything you write in the message box
When the form is submitted, the server also records the time, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. These are kept for one reason: to stop automated abuse of the form. They are not used to build a profile of you.
What this website does not do
- No advertising or tracking cookies — none at all
- No analytics service, no pixels, no session recording
- No third-party scripts of any kind
- No selling, renting or sharing of your details with anyone
- No newsletter you did not ask for
The only request this site makes to another company is to Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces the pages are set in. Google receives the request for the font file and, with it, your IP address. If you would rather that did not happen, the fonts can be moved onto this server — tell us and it will be.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Because you asked us to contact you. Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, our lawful basis is your consent, given by submitting the form, together with our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry and in keeping the form free of abuse.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted
- Abuse-prevention records (IP and timestamp): 30 days
- If you become a customer, correspondence is kept for as long as the contract runs and for 7 years afterwards, as Ugandan tax and company records require
Where it is stored
Enquiries are delivered by email to the addresses above and stored on the web server that runs this site, in a folder that is blocked from the internet at two levels. Transmission is over HTTPS. Mail is sent over an authenticated, encrypted SMTP connection.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 you may ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it
- Give you a copy in a portable format
Write to hello@corenta.com and we will act within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Office of Uganda.
Children
This website is aimed at organisations, not individuals, and is not directed at children. Please do not submit a child’s details through the demo form. Where the Corenta platform holds records about students or patients, that data belongs to the institution operating it, not to us — see Security.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Anyone with an open enquiry at the time will be told directly.
